The Driven Carbon Footprint
Our business is predominantly based on the roads,
without the use of a car we would not have a business, however we
understand that we have a environmental responsibility to reduce our
Carbon Footprint, as such we are currently investigating the use of
Hybrid or low CO²
producing vehicles in our fleet.
In the interim we are in discussion with a number of
agencies who are advising us of the best ways to offset our impact on
the environment, through Carbon Offsetting.
We plan to offset our Carbon Footprint using
Reforestation, Reforestation works very well as trees absorb the carbon
we produce as part of the Photosynthesis process enabling them to grow.
Through this process, carbon dioxide is converted into stored carbon, by
taking this carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, trees clean the air and
offset our polluting vehicles.
We are also looking into ways of enabling our
customers to offset their onward journeys through us giving them the
peace of mind that their entire journey from start to finish has been
offset and their impact on the environment reduced.
